Belfast’s Queen’s University is launching two City Centre Student Accommodation developments planned to start September 2018 housing over 1,200 students on campus for the school year of 2018-19.
In addition, and in compliance with a £70 million investment the university is hosting an Accommodation Jobs “Open Day” on Wednesday, January 10th held in their Great Hall located on the Belfast campus.
The head of Accommodation at the university, Richard Robinson, stated: “This is a really exciting new chapter for the University and will enable us to provide high quality, secure safe and affordable accommodation to over 3,400 Queen’s students.
“We are delighted to be able to bring new job opportunities to the local market as part of this investment and ensure that we continue to attract the brightest students to study at Queen’s and live in Belfast”.
He also went on to note that “Our staff is key to the success of the service we provide our students and we are, therefore, looking to recruit individuals who will dedicate themselves to the student experience and provide a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service.

Robinson explained that those who wish to apply should project a positive attitude, display top-notch interpersonal skills and show a passion towards providing customer care.

Among the positions available at the job fair include Residential Life Coordinator, Accommodation Operations Managers; Reception Advisors; Facility Assistants, Housekeeping Supervisors in which many offer substantial shift allowance.
